Nine Dead in Edmonton Murder-Suicide

Nine people are dead in the worst mass killing in the Canadian province of Alberta in almost 50 years — an overnight murder-suicide that left four women and two young children among the victims, police said Tuesday. The assailant was found dead Tuesday morning at a restaurant in the Edmonton suburb of Fort Saskatchewan. His eight victims — four women, a man and two children — were discovered at two homes in Edmonton, Alberta’s capital city.
